1. Your deletion options
You may remove or revoke a Meta, Google Ads or TikTok Ads authorisation to stop future access through that connection. You may also request deletion of personal information and Connected Platform Data associated with a particular connection, workspace, tenant or your entire Adpie account. Revoking a platform connection does not necessarily delete historical information already processed by Adpie, so use the request process below if you also want historical information deleted.
2. How to request deletion
Send an email from the address associated with your Adpie account to admin@adpie.com with the subject Connected Platform Data Deletion Request.
Please include:
- your full name and Adpie account email address;
- the business or organisation name;
- the relevant Adpie workspace, if known;
- the relevant platform—Meta, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Shopify or another supported integration—and the relevant account or advertiser name or identifier, if known;
- whether you want the connection revoked, data from that connection deleted, your entire Adpie account deleted, or a combination of these; and
- enough information for us to identify the connection without sending passwords, access tokens or other secrets.
Do not send any platform password, Adpie password, access token, refresh token, app secret, developer token or payment-card information by email.
3. Verification
We may ask you to verify your identity, account email and authority to act for the relevant customer or connected platform account. This helps prevent an unauthorised person from deleting another customer’s information. If a platform user makes a request concerning data controlled by an Adpie customer, we may also notify or consult that customer where appropriate.
4. What we delete
Subject to verification and any lawful exception, a completed deletion request covers the information within the confirmed scope of the request, including:
- stored OAuth access and refresh credentials, granted-scope records and connection identifiers;
- Meta business and ad-account identifiers, Google Ads manager and customer identifiers, TikTok advertiser identifiers, or equivalent identifiers for the applicable connected platform;
- campaign, ad group or ad set, ad, asset, creative, audience, budget and performance information obtained through the applicable platform;
- scores, diagnoses, recommendations, strategies and other records derived from that Connected Platform Data; and
- associated AI or vector-memory records controlled by Adpie.
If you request deletion of your entire Adpie account, we will also delete or de-identify other account information that is no longer required, subject to applicable legal and contractual obligations.
5. Timing and confirmation
We will acknowledge a complete request within a reasonable period and begin deletion as soon as reasonably possible after verification. The time required depends on the scope of the request, the systems involved and any information we must retain by law. We will confirm by email when the request has been completed or explain any information that could not be deleted and the reason.
6. Backups and records we may retain
Information in protected backups may remain until it is removed through the applicable backup-rotation process. Backup information is isolated from ordinary product use and will not be restored except for legitimate recovery or security purposes.
We may retain limited billing, transaction, security, fraud-prevention, dispute or compliance records where required or permitted by law. We do not retain Connected Platform Data for an unrelated purpose merely because a customer has requested deletion.
7. Revoke access at the connected platform
You can revoke Adpie’s future access directly at the connected platform. For Meta, remove Adpie from the relevant Business Integrations settings. For Google Ads, review Adpie on your Google Account third-party connections page and remove its access. For TikTok Ads, remove the authorisation from the applicable TikTok for Business, Business Center or Ads Manager authorisation settings available to your account.
Platform-side revocation prevents Adpie from making future requests under that authorisation but does not instruct Adpie to delete historical information already received. Send the deletion request described above if you also want Adpie-held information deleted.
