This policy explains how Adpie collects, uses, stores and shares personal information when you visit our website, contact us, join onboarding or use our services.

1. About this policy

Adpie provides advertising intelligence and workflow tools that help businesses connect advertising channel data with commerce data. In this policy, “Adpie”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the Adpie business operating from L5, 115 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia.

We handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles where they apply to us.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Contact information such as your name, work email address, phone number and company.
  • Messages, demo requests, selected plan information and other details submitted through our forms.
  • Your marketing preferences and the version of the privacy notice accepted with a form.
  • Onboarding information, including your business profile, growth goals and email address.
  • Support correspondence and feedback you send to us.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical information such as IP address, browser or user-agent information, referring page and basic request logs.
  • Campaign attribution values included in a URL, such as UTM parameters and advertising click identifiers including GCLID, FBCLID and TTCLID.
  • A temporary onboarding session identifier stored in your browser’s session storage so the onboarding flow can continue between steps.

Information processed through the Adpie platform

If you use the Adpie platform, we may process account details, connected-platform identifiers and the advertising, campaign, creative, performance, order and sales information that you authorise us to access from services such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads and Shopify. The exact information depends on the integrations and permissions you choose.

3. Why we use information

We use information where reasonably necessary to:

  • respond to enquiries, arrange demos and provide onboarding or support;
  • create, secure and operate Adpie accounts and services;
  • connect authorised platforms and produce dashboards, scores, diagnoses, recommendations and other requested outputs;
  • maintain service reliability, prevent misuse, investigate errors and protect users;
  • understand which campaigns bring visitors to Adpie and improve our website and services;
  • send product news or marketing messages where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law; and
  • meet legal, regulatory, accounting and record-keeping obligations.

4. When we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:

  • hosting, database, email, security, support and other service providers that help us operate Adpie;
  • advertising and commerce platforms you direct us to connect with;
  • professional advisers, auditors, insurers and prospective transaction advisers under appropriate confidentiality obligations;
  • regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies or other parties where disclosure is required or permitted by law; and
  • a buyer, investor or successor in connection with a genuine corporate transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Some providers may process information outside Australia. Where cross-border disclosure occurs, we take reasonable steps appropriate to the circumstances to protect the information and comply with applicable requirements.

5. Data security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No internet service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain information only for as long as reasonably required for the purposes described in this policy, to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of record and our relationship with you. Information that is no longer required is deleted or de-identified where reasonably practicable and legally permitted.

6. Marketing communications

We record whether you consented to marketing. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe facility in a marketing message or by emailing info@adpie.com. We may still send non-promotional messages that are necessary to provide or secure a service you requested.

7. Access, correction and privacy requests

You may ask us to provide access to personal information we hold about you or to correct inaccurate, out-of-date or incomplete information. You may also ask us to delete information, object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent where those rights apply. Some requests may be limited by legal exceptions or legitimate record-keeping needs.

Send requests to info@adpie.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. If you have a privacy complaint, please include enough detail for us to investigate. We will acknowledge and respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or another regulator available to you.

8. Children

Adpie is a business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services, information-handling practices or legal obligations change. The revised policy will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email where appropriate.
